From February to May 2009, three topics of TV spots are scheduled to broadcast- “Valentine Day”, “Candle Light Day” and “Practicing Drug Injection is at risk to HIV Transmission”. And the other three topics-“Making Ourselves safe from HIV during Water Festival Days”, “Practicing Male to Male Sexual Intercourse without Condoms is at Risk to HIV transmission” and “One Year, You and I together stop AIDS” will be showed on TV from October to December 2009. On the other hand, two parties haven’t decided yet on other three topics in 2010. Moreover, the number of broadcasting times will be around 216 through popular TV station such as CTN and TVK.
The main objectives of TV spot broadcasting are to advocate for and on behalf of PLHIV, to increase HIV/AIDS knowledge among public aiming at reducing the spread of HIV transmission in Cambodia and to contribute to the UA targets and indicators.
The budget plan of the TV production and Broadcasting is US$ 25, 500 in total and this amount is divided into two main activities, for the production activity will take around US$ 13, 500 and the rest will be for TV broadcasting activity.
We would convince that this collaboration is to ensure that all TV spots will be neatly developed to follow the national policy and guideline on IEC development and broadcasting, especially respond to the set target groups and the public.
