CHEC works to empower communities and the general public to address HIV/AIDS, TB and STIs and to reduce stigma and discrimination against PLHIV and their families.
Vision
Cambodian government, civil society and communities, including PLHIV, are working together effectively in their efforts to halt the spread of HIV/AIDS and have created an enabling environment for PLHIV and their families.

CHEC operates its activities within a structured model of community ownership, and has assisted communities to move from a position of powerlessness and fear about the virus, to one of empowerment and the creation of an enabling environment within each of their target communities.
